What is the course about?
Psychology provides opportunities for students to engage with concepts that explain behaviours and underlying cognitions. 

What will students learn?
In studying Psychology, students will learn about:

Preparation for Psychology
  • Human behaviour, thoughts, experiences, and perceptions.
  • Biological structures and processes that make behaviour and thinking possible, specifically the workings of the nervous system, neurotransmitters and the brain.
  • Skills to be able to describe and explain scientific concepts and theories and analyse results and data.

  • student experiment (20%)
  • research investigation (20%)
  • examination (50%).
