​​​​​​​​​​​​​Thank you for considering Pine Rivers State High School as your child's prospective school. ​​

Pine Rivers State High School caters for students from Year 7 to Year 12. All new enrolments require families to submit an Expression of Interest Form prior to completing an Enrolment Application. Please note that this form does not constitute official enrolment or confirmation of enrolment. 

As part of our comprehensive enrolment process, prospective students and their parent/carer are required to attend an interview with the Head of Junior Secondary or the relevant Year Level Deputy. This allows us to meet the student and ensure we can provide a course of study that best supports their needs.

Catchment Area

Prospective students can apply for enrolment at Pine Rivers State High School (PRSHS) under the following categories: 

  • Prospective student's principal residence is within the defined local catchment area. Following is the link to check the Local Catchment Area 

  •  Out of Catchment students who are looking to enrol through our Academic, Musical Theatre and Production or Sports (Volleyball / Touch) Excellence Programs or meet the criteria outlined in the Pine Rivers SHS Enrolment Management Plan

Families within our catchment will need to provide the following documents with their application forms. See table below.

Out of Catchment

Families who live outside the catchment are welcome to apply for enrolment however applications are assessed by the Deputy and placements are subject to availability. 


Enrolment Process

Steps

1. Submit the Expression of Interest Form. 

2. Ensure you have all the necessary documentation (see table below)

3. Submit supporting documents with the completed Enrolment Booklet to enrolments@pineriversshs.eq.edu.au or to the office. 

4. The Enrolment Officer will contact you to arrange an interview time when approved and process your application​

  • Current lease agreement
  • Utility Bills (gas, electricity, water etc)

NAPLANA copy of the student's recent NAPLAN results if you have them available
Visa DocumentationIf applicable
Supporting Documentation

All supporting documentation related to diagnosed learning difficulties, verifications or health management plans (anaphylaxis, asthma, diabetes)
Required school forms1. COMPASS Form
2. LOTE Form (Language Other Than English for Year 7 students)


Change of Details

Complete the Change of Details Form (PDF, 2.6MB) and return it to the school office or via email to office@pineriversshs.eq.edu.au​ – remember to provide appropriate evidence where required.
