History
Pine Rivers State High School is located on eastern side of Gympie Rd on the south bank of Four Mile Creek. Established in 1964 as a district high school in the semi rural Pine Rivers Shire, it has been swallowed over time by developing Strathpine. The name and the site of Pine Rivers State High School reflect Queensland's history in its own unique way.
